I build web and mobile applications, and custom software for Audi and VW: wired into the car's CAN bus, reading the values the dashboard keeps to itself and putting them somewhere you can see them.

What I do
Three surfaces, one toolbox.
Most of my week is software. The cars never left - they just moved from the workshop bench to the same editor as everything else.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android from one codebase with Ionic and Capacitor — offline-first, encrypted on the device, and taken all the way through both store reviews.
In-car software
Custom software wired into the vehicle's CAN bus. A small board reads the frames; the display turns them into something you can read at a glance at speed.

A net-worth tracker for iOS and Android where the data never leaves the phone. Every account and transaction is AES-256 encrypted on the device, the key sits in the Keychain or the Android Keystore, and there is no cloud account to create and no bank password to hand over.
